Cynthia Bittenfield has been in numerous exhibitions, including Gallery 110, Photography Center Northwest, and the Frye Museum in Seattle, WA, Houston Center of Photography, Newspace Center for Photography in Portland, OR and Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA. Recently, her work has been exhibited at the School of Visual Arts Gallery, and Broadway Gallery, both in New York City, The Print Center in Philadelphia and in the show Photography NOW 2010: Either/And, Part 2: The New Docugraphics at The Center for Photography at Woodstock and The Art of Photography Show in San Diego, CA. Her video work was included in Projecting Freedom: Cinematic Interpretations of the Haggadah screening in New York, London, and San Francisco. Bittenfield is a grant recipient from the School of Visual Arts, New York, where she received her MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media. She holds a Master of Education in Instructional Technology from the University of Illinois. Her photography and related projects are available online at www.bittenfield.com. She lives and works in New York City.
